A warm Wholly Ground welcome to our new followers ☀️If you have recently discovered us, let us fill you in on our vision! Our community café, first established in 2022 by St Mark’s church, has a simple mission: to provide a welcoming space where people can find rest, create community and have great quality coffee. Over the past few years, we’ve been delighted to see our café become a hive of activity. From our work experience scheme with Mont A L’Abbé school from 2022-2024, to the development of our children’s playroom, Wholly Ground Café has always been an inclusive space for everyone to enjoy! On our staff, we have a part-time community worker who liaises with local organizations such as BabyBasics, SVP and FNHC who use our space as regular meeting points to give help to those needing it. We are very aware that going out for a meal or drink is a luxury not available to everyone, so we work hard to keep our products at an affordable price. Our Pay It Forward scheme is also available for those that need it, offering free meals at zero cost. A small amount of parking is available on site but don’t worry if it is full, as we’re only a short walk from the town center.
